During my high school days I discovered woodworking for the first time.

small chairs with hemp seats, jewellery boxes and lamps were some of my first projects and I picked up some blacksmithing and welding too.

After finishing high school I went to the wood and furniture college of Amsterdam and found my specialisation in furniture restauration. After traveling the world for half a year I started work as head of machinery at a lumberyard, and making custom gardens for people for a year.

In 2021 I found a company in monumental restauration where I worked for half a year and started my own enterprise of restoring monuments and renovating houses. during this time I tackled projects like building sluice doors of 5x7 meters, replacing the wooden bearings of windmills, restoring the tower and various other parts of the Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, the restoration 2 15th century national monument houses. Restoring several “Grachtenpanden” in North-Holland and several renovations and hard to tackle projects.

Now I’m looking for new challenges in the beautiful Brittany Provence of France.
